Earlier this year I had the opportunity to visit Niagra on the Lake.
One of the stores was selling a little "mouse".
The body is about a 3" circle of calico,
a half dollar or 2 dollar coin size circle of cardboard in the middle,
a small wad of fiberfill & gathered around the outer edge of the circle.
A small piece of chenile stem is wraped around for arms.
About a 1" knitted piece has been done using toothpicks for the knitting needles & attached to the arms.
A piece of lace is glue on the stuffed circle about 1" down from the neck, making an apron.
A thistle has been trimmed to make the head,,
with eyes & nose made of a pinned sequin.
The thistle is then covered with a piece of material & lace to make a bonnet.
