Tin can man tutorial part 3

Here is the last part of the assembly of this guy.



1. Put the two cans for each arm together drilling holes through both cans the same way you did for the legs.

By tilting the cans this way or that, you can have the arms in different positions....my one arm is saluting.

I then taped the arm to the body using duct tape to hold it in place to drill.

I drilled the holes at an angle through both cans and attached screws.



2. Screw shoulder.



2. I then cut out two hand shapes from metal flashing and attached to can with screws.



3.This is what he looks like now.

I still have to make him a hat and need to take him outside and spray him with primer.

Will post more when he is completed.

Hope you have fun trying this.

With these cans he stands only 2 foot 7 inches, but if you want to make yours bigger, use more and bigger cans.
