    Materials:
    1-1/4" porcelain head,
    pearlescent white paint-if desired.
    round crocheted doilies,
    one each of 6", 12" & 14".
    Liquid fabric stiffener,
18" length of ribbon 1/8" wide or narrow cording.
Styrofoam cone, 8" to 10" high.
Styrofoam cone 8" to 10" high.
    24 gauge brass wire.
    Plastic wrap,
    wax paper.

Trim the base of the cone so that height is about 7'1/2".
Shape peak of the cone, trimming sides if necessary, so head will rest on the cone. Appply pearlescent white paint to the head if desired, this softens hair coloring and skin tone. Set head aside, and cover cone with plastic wrap. Remove doily from plastic wrap, place sheets of folded wax paper between doily and cone to support skirt. Push head onto cone, over doily, securing it with small amount of fabric stiffener.

Place the 14" doily on plastic wrap.
Apply the fabric stiffener to doily until saturated, using rag or fingers.
Place plastic wrap on top of doily, apply pressure with hands to
distribute stiffener and squeeze out excess. Remove top layer of plastic, dab and excvess stiffener from doily, using rag. Remove doily from plastic wrap, place center of doily on peak of cone. Shape doily into scalloped, flared skirt, place sheets of folded wax paper between doily and
cone to support skirt. Push head onto cone, over doily, securing it with small amount of fabric siffener. Cut away center portion of 6" doily, discard.

For collar, weave ribbon through heading on remaining outer portion of doily.
Place collar on plastic wrap, apply fabric stiffener to collar, except heading ribbon, using rag or fingers. Place collar over porcelain head, and
draw up heading to fit neck, secure ribbon in a bow. Shape collar into soft scallops, supporting shape with crumpled plastic wrap as necessary, keep collar flat at center back to allow space for wings. Allow skirt and collar to dry thoroughly.
Apply fabric stiffener to 12" doily. Fold doily in half, and place on clean sheet of wax paper.

Shape doily into wings, pinching center area and fanning the doily upward.
Separate layers toward top of wings, stuff with crumpled plastic wrap to hold shape. Press center area flat.
Allow wings to dry. Remove angel from cone form. Secure collar in place with dots of hot glue. Secure the wings at center back of angel, using hot glue. Cut a short length of brass wire, and shape into
