How to make Ribbon Angels
Hello all!
Have been making some paper ribbon angels that are turning out really cute.
Materials needed:
3" wide paper ribbon = 15" for one angel
1" wooden bead = 1 for head
string for hanging
gold tone pipe cleaner- 1
Cut a 15" piece of paper ribbon.
from this 15" piece of ribbon cut a 2 1/2" piece from end.
From gold pipe cleaner cut a short piece- long enough to wrap around
middle of the small 2 1/2" inch piece and spread each side out to form
wings.
Then take the remaining section of the 15" piec and glue the ends by
overlapping about 1/4"-to form ring.
Then take another section of the gold pipe cleaner and about 1/2"
down from the long side of ring gather all ribbon and
tighten pipe cleaner around to form the neck.
Glue the 1" wooden bead on top of this for head.
Glue the wings to back.
Take another length of pipe cleaner to form a halo and glue
to top of wooden bead.
attach string for hanging.
It is a simple quick gift topper, ornament/decoration.
Wishing everyone a great day.
