Decorate a basket with fresh greenery.
Autumn Decoration Tutorial by:

1.   Go outside and find interesting branches, wildflowers, leaves and grasses.
2.   Make a basket from grapevine or find a wicker basket that you like. I made this one by twisting the grapevine in an oval wreath shape. Then I wove grapevine into a flat piece to attch to the back with twine. The front, I made more rounded.

3.   I lightly packed the inside of the basket with moss to hold the branches and things in place.

4.   Make a bow from paper twist, ribbon, raffia or whatever looks good to you. Attach to the basket with wire.

I then added my branches and filled in with more grasses and wild flowers. I tucked in some corn husks to lighten it up. You could add small indian corn, mini pumpkins or anything to give it an Autumn look.

I just used what I could find outside or had on hand. When Autumn is over, you can remove everything and use your basket to make a Christmas arrangement with pine branches, pine cones, poinsettias, or whatever appeals to you.

Throughout the year you can change it up for the different seasons using small branches or silk flowers. If you line the basket with sheet moss, you can plant live flowers directly in the basket.
