decorated CD holder: Mon, 10 Apr 2006 5. Once you've finished coloring in your patterns, outline it with a Fine Point Sharpie Permanent Marker Pen. The Ultra-Fine Point Sharpie does not really show up, as an outline. 6. After I outlined all the pattern, it looked too plain, so I did some "dotting" as a fill-in. 7. I "free-handed" another simple pattern on the lid, colored it in, outlined it and wrote what the container was for. I didn't think of it at the time .. but I should have printed the letters in a "craftier" style. 8. After using it for a while, I noticed the colored area's had a few scratches. So, I took some clear sealer (not the spray kind) and using a brush, I went over just the colored areas with the sealer. No more scratches.
