Try WD-40 or even a little cooking oil. Then rub with a cloth or paper towel.

Skin-So-Soft from Avon works wonders on taking off gluey stuff from plastic, glass, etc.
I've tried the using hot water, sometimes with success and other times, not. Good luck!

I'm not as crafty as the ones prior to me. I went out and bought un-do. It's an adhesive remover.
Works like a charm. If I had known about the others I would have tried them first.
