Pillow Case Dolls

I have made many pillowcase dolls --
especially out of antique pillowcases --
the ones with all the embroidery and crochet lace on them.

Just take a styrofoam ball --
about 3 inches --
and put it in the center of the bottom seam.
draw the pillowcase around the ball to form the head,
leaving the outer corners of that bottom seam loose.

Take stuffing about put in those two corners and tie each to form the hands.
They stand up nice if you criss cross the thread from one side to the other around the neck, etc.
You can use ribbon or lace to hide your threads. Use your imagination from there.
You can use spanish moss for hair, or put a bonnet on her. No faces! You can't mess up because you don't cut anything.
