Unity Candle




Here is how I made mine:

Just take a 1/2 gallon clean milk carton (not the clear plastic kind!)
Stick in a tapered candle the same color as the wax you will be pouring.
Then while holding the candle by the tip pour in ice cubes up to near the top of the milk carton. Next pour in your colored, melted parafin wax and let it set up. It takes a while, I can't remember how long.
Once it's hardened, hold it over the sink and tear away the milk carton.
It took a while for the candle to release all the water from the ice, so give it time. I'd suggest making a couple of these as practice candles before you do one for the wedding! Have fun!
