I just finished making some pretty Victorian style ornaments.
I simply took a small styrofoam ball and randomly glued white and clear buttons all over, even overlapping some of the buttons. Then I made the hanger from twisted wire and tied a pretty bow onto the hanger. They look great, were fun and easy too (Dd enjoyed helping me).

Lori Sounds great. I was just writing up the following for "Ice Cream Cones" and thought maybe there's a way to combine the two. (Or maybe cover the cone with a lacy doily. Check this out

Ice Cream Cones
Glue a styrofoam ball atop each sugar cone, then glue on a circle of cotton batting, making "drips," and sprinkle with glitter. Or cover the balls with glue and sprinkle with potpourri mix. To hang, glue ribbon to both sides of each cone, then pin for extra security.
