This first one is one tp roll cut in quarter inch segments. Make a 2" cut from one side, turn to other side and make another 2" cut. Do not cut all the way through. Do this to the end of the roll. Pull apart accordion style; paint white; spray with glue and glitter; glue on sequins and attach a hanger to top. Done. Have fun. Yes, More TP and PT Rolls

The second one is a half inch strip cut from a paper towel roll with scolloped edge scissors; painted red on one side and white on the other; spray with glue and glittered and attach a fish swivel/monofilament line hanger. Done.

Pine Tree Window Hanging

Below is a pine tree I made by cutting ¼" wide circles from empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls; squashed them to points on each end; painted them green; glitered them; glued them together in the shape of a pine tree; glued on some dried blooms off of a bush for pinecones and added some faux snow. I think this would be very pretty hung in a sunny window.

Used lots of paper rolls making it too. It is hard to see the green color and the glitter in this picture, but it really does glisten. I painted these by hand. The rolls seem to have some kind of coating that makes it hard for the spray paint to adhere to, so I used acrylic and a brush. It was tedious, but one coat was all it needed. I am thinking about decorating this one for Christmas just to see how it looks.

I cut ¼" wide circles off of toilet paper and paper towel rolls, painted them green, glitered them, shaped them like hearts and glued them together to make the clovers below. I still think it need something else. Any suggestions?

Super! These came out great too. You have any of that green celophane? That would look good in the middle of each leaf. A bow fashioned from beads would look great too. Did you do some of the heart shapes in red for Valentines Day? Thanks for showing these to us and giving us so many ways to recycle those cardboard rolls. I'm thinking you could even shape them into small bells and other shapes for Christmas ornaments.

Sue, they are beautiful just the way they are. Plain and simple. Sometimes simplicity is the best way to go. But if you want to dress them up, a small green and white bow on the stem or at the top or even in the center would look nice. You could also add a very small white flower in the center of your bow. Say, maybe you can come up with something using beads to decorate them
