Outdoor light

and what do you get? Well this is what I came up with.
All you need is the top from a light fixture, some wire, beads, glass jar and a votive holder that will fit inside and a candle. I thought of painting the light fixture thing...but changed my mind. Think it looks just fine the way it is. This will look nice hanging out on my porch this summer. Now I will have to make a few more.
I used the black wire for this so it would match the top, but I think it would be pretty using the copper, silver or gold wire too, depending on what your light fixture looked like. And we never have a shortage of empty jars. This would be another good recycling project to teach kids.
It's easy and fun to do, and the only tools involved are the wire cutters and needle nose pliers. I have heard that if you use the canning type jars, you don't need the votive holder inside, but I still use them.....I don't like to take chances.
