Measuring cup wind chime

Here is an idea I'm going to try to do.
Go to a dollar store and buy a set of 4 measuring cups and a wire whisk.
Now you will also need some fishing line, a sealer and some acrylic paints (optional)
Start by choosing the different colors of flowers you want to decorate your measuring cups.
You can pick yellow, blue, white and purple; one color of flower for each cup.
You don't have to prime the cups before painting.
But clean your cups and whisk with vinegar to remove any residue that might be on them.
Paint green lines around the sides of each cup.
Then paint on a little leaf.

Make 5 little dots in circle and an orange dot in the center for a flower.
For the inside and bottom of the cups, paint a bigger flower in the same color.
Don't be afraid to paint; it's really simple to do (just like when we were kids).
Also paint the neck of whisk. In color of your choice.
Let the paint dry. Then spray or brush on a sealer. Let that dry.

Tie the fishing line to each hole on the cups.
If yours cups don't have holes, just drill a hole or take a hammer and nail and make a hole.
String each cup to the whisk and knot off.
You may wish to vary the length of the strings, so that the cups fall in a descending line.
Now, if you don't want to paint yours, that is up to you, maybe you can come up with another way to decorate yours like maybe decoupage?
Enjoy!
