Dye White Flowers
To dye those fake white small flowers, try food coloring. It can be mixed up in small batches, and can be washed out when you want to change the color again. Or thin down acrylic paint and dip the flowers in to stain them. If you want to make it a thicker application, take the flowers apart and dip the cloth part. Then dry on paper towel or styrofoam tray.

1. Use cheap wooden skewers to stir paint. They're easy to use and don't get covered with lots of paint like paint store stir sticks do.

2. Keep your acrylic paints fresh by using a Tupperware pizza storage container or other lidded container with storage compartments. The lid makes it air tight, and the divided compartments make it easy to separate color families. Mist it lightly with a spray bottle, and put the lid on between painting sessions.
