How to sharpen scissors when in a bind?

i'm in a bind at the moment...anyone know how to sharpen scissors without a stone...is it cutting sandpaper or????help...lynda from b.c.

Lynda, I have used sandpaper when nothing else is available. I have one of those scissor sharpeners, but I can never find it. Margie.
