I bought a really pretty etched glass jewelry box for my cousin but the sticker left glue on it. Any ideas on how to get it off without ruining the glass?? thanks, cindy.

Hi Cindy...I use an adhesive remover on jars and other glass things that I paint on..the brand I have is Medi-Sol...it's to remove the those marks that band aids leave..but it works great on crafts too!

Cindy, Don't know if this will help you, but...when I have had scotch residue left on my windows from hanging something there, I use nail polish remover and it removes all the sticky gunk. Maybe you could try this on a small area. I might be able to find another solution. If I do, I'll post it also.

I just use..oil. Kitchen oil, baby oil etc. Pour some on...let it soak and then wipe off. Wash with soap and water. -dd

Hubby uses WD 40. Also there's a product called 'UN-du' adhesive remover, you can get it at Jo Ann fabric shops and probably other stores like Wal Mart's. I use it often and it works great for me. Joyce.
