I bought a real cute bird feeder from my granddaughter,her school was selling them...

it's a wooden apple about 8 1/2 " tall x 6 1/4 " wide....
there is a hole cut in the center of the apple and a metal stick goes through it to stick a real apple on and then hang outside for the birds.

It's got a heavy twisted wire hanger and a small piece of wood for a base,it is very rough wood...and is painted with a rust red and hunter green....I love the idea and the apple!

Would be easy to make, heck it wouldn't have to be made the shape of an apple...it could be any shape...but I thought it was a neat birdfeeder idea.
