Baby yarn, 1.75 oz skeins 6 white (A), 2 green (B), 1 pink (C), 1
yellow (D), 1 blue (E)
Size F hook (or size to make gauge), yarn needle
Gauge: square measures 4.75" (5sc = 1")
Square: With C, ch 6, join with slst into ring.
Rnd 1: *Ch 3, 1 sc in ring; rep from * around until there are 6
loops, join with slst
Rnd 2: *1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1sc in next loop; repeat from *
around, join with sl st. (6 petals)
Rnd 3: Working in back of petals, *ch 4, work 1 sc around post
between petals; repeat from * around, join with slst (6 bars).
Rnd 4: *1 sc, 2 hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc on bar behind petal; repeat
from * around, join with sl st, (one petal behind each petal). Fasten
off.
Rnd 5: with main color (A), join in center dc of any petal; *1 sc,
ch3, 1 dc between petals, ch 3; repeat from * around join with slst
(12 spaces).
Rnd 6: 3dc, ch3, 3dc (corner worked) in first space; *ch1,3dc in next
sp, repeat from * once, ch 1, work corner in next space. repeat
around (4 corners and two 3dc shells between each corner.) Fasten
off.
Rnd 7: With Green (B), join yarn in any corner, 1 sc in each dc and
ch1 sp around. Join with slst, fasten off.
Make 11 more squares with pink centers, and 12 with yellow, 12 with
blue, and 12 with green centers. Arrange and sew together.

Outside border: Rnd 1: with B, work 1 sc in each st around, ch 2
between squares, work 3 sc in each outside corner.
Rnd 2: with A, work 1 hdc in each st around, work 2 hdc over ch2
between squares, 3 hdc in outer corners.
Rnd 3: with C work 1 hdc in each st around, 3 hdc in outer corners
Rnd 4: with A repeat round 3
