Infant Halloween costume idea

I made a crocheted jack-o-lantern costume for my grandson last year which
turned out really cute.

This is just the basic instructions. With bright orange yarn, make a pullover
sweater for infants(use a pattern withdouble crochet - it goes fast).
Make the sweater long enough to reach the bottom of the diaper before
making bottom ribbing.
Make bottom ribbing about 1 in wide. At the middle
of the front and back of the sweater bottom ribbing attach yarn and make
a 2 in long placket (make placket about 1.5 to 2 in wide). Attach velcro
to plackets. (You've made a onesie!) From black felt cut 3 triangles and a
mouth shape and hot glue to front for face. If the baby will wear it you can
make a little hat from orange or green but it's preppy w/o it.
