Wrapping Pencils

What to do with those thin strips of colorful wrapping paper left over?
They are ideal for wrapping pencils, children might like this.

Cut the wrapping paper so that it is long/wide enough to wrap around
a (round not hexagonal) pencil.

Spray the back of the paper with glue and wrap around the pencil.
Trim paper off the top of pencil.

#### Lynette, neat idea!
My 12 year old Granddaughter and I were just reading your post
and since she collects pencils, she now has a new idea for decorating them.
She mentioned that she had once covered a pencil by wrapping it
with embroidery floss and fastening it with glue.

She also added a few little beads and hanging beads to the floss as she
wrapped the floss. Then she added a little tassle at the top.
She says these pencils feel sooooo soft!
