Pencil Pal

Here is a quickie craft.
You can use the 1" bunny head on a metal pick that you get in a craft store
or use other varieties of animals or doll heads.

All you need for your Bunny Pencil Pal beside the bunny head,
pencil with eraser, a scrap of lace or eyelet,
a 6" length of 1/8" wide satin ribbon, needle and thread & craft glue.

Pull the head off the metal pick and glue the top of the pencil.
Run a gathering stitch along the top of the lace. Slip around the pencil at
base of bunny’s head and pull threads to gather, take a couple of stitches
to secure.

Add glue underneath for added stability. (if stitching is not desired get
a pre-gathered lace and just glue & adjust lace or lace a narrow
ribbon thru lace to pull tight around pencil). Tie a bow from the satin
ribbon & glue in place at neckline to finish.
