Kim,
Perhaps you could mix a batch of flour clay and make windchimes.
Use cookie cutters for perfect shape cuts.
Then poke a hole in each little piece with a pencil or straw.
After 24 to 48 hours dry time paint them with tempra paint.
Add colorful yarn or string.
A Star shape will make a wonderful sun if you put a circle in the center of it then you could cut small stars to hang
below the sun. Good luck.
