Hi Stacey, you mentioned in your e-mail that you were making things to go in the baskets.
I made, with 5 year olds, bunnys out of the plastic eggs.
The egg was the body, pompoms for paws, tail and nose and ears cut out of felt.
We pulled a ribbon through the hole to hang it on our Easter Tree.
They were really cute and you could put litte treats in them.
I'll post a picture of them if I can find one.
You could also make chicks using the same idea. Happy Holidays Marj

WOW, Easter already, I am still trying to get through Christmas.
Stacey, when I made them with young kids we wrapped the whole balloon and then cut a hole after it was dry.
We glued lace around the hole opening to cover the cut edge.
I used white glue and water, I think it was 3/4 glue 1/4 water.
I have also made them with small water balloons as Christmas balls for the tree.
Crochet cotton with silver or gold in it turns out really pretty.
Happy Holidays Marj
