Hang In There Bunny
Supplies:
12" length of bright green Jumbo Loopy chenille,
(4) mini plastic eggs, a bright pink chenille stem,
5" length of pink check or print ribbon at least 1" wide,
12" length 1/4" yellow satin ribbon, a pair of 7mm wiggle eyes,
6" length of white cloth covered wire,
(1) 7mm white pom pom and taky craft glue.
Also needed, pink pom poms in the following sizes:
(1) 2", (1) 1/2", (5) 1/2" & (2) 1/4".
Bend ends of loopy chenille under a little so it won't unravel.
Shape into a circle and twist ends to secure. Cut the chenille stem in half.
Bend each piece in half and twist ends to secure. Shape into oval ear.
Apply glue to back of ears and lay onto top side of ribbon. when dry,
trim close to stem. Glue the 1-1/2" pink pom on wreath for bunny's head.
(Glue it fro the abck and slightly over front).
Attach two of the 1/2" poms on the front under chin so it looks like he
is holding on. Glue two eyes, white pom nose and two 1/4" pink pom cheeks.
Spread fibers on pom pom and glue ears in place, pinch fibers back around
ear base.
Put a small dab of glue on the back of hte ear tips and glue to wreath for
extra stability. Glue large pom on the abck of wreath fo rbunny's body,
letting it hang below. Attach the 3 remaining poms for feet and tail.
Cut ribbon in half, fashion each into a figure eight bow and secure in
center with 1" of cloth covered wire. Glue them and the eggs in place.
Glue bows using a clock hands for postion-3:00, 9:00.
Now eggs are 1:00, 400, 7:00, 10:00.
Thread the remaining wire through one of the loops in the Jumbo Loopy.
Twist to secure and shape into a circle for hanging.
