Subject: plastic pop bottles

At our camp two years ago, we made wind catchers.
Kids drew big pictures on the sides of washed our pop bottles.
Them they painted them with acrylic paint.

Once they were dry the fixed up their drawing by outlinning the drawings
with a sharpie pen.
Then a wood burning tool was used to burn along half the shape and
we bent the shape outwards-like side wings
( I did the bottles for the youger kids)Holes were burnt in the top
so we could add fishing line to string them up and other holes were
burned at the bottom to string gimp through them were the kids added crow beads.
On visiting day we strung them all up in the trees and they were all
turning in the wind.
