This game is popular at carnivals.... The Treasure Box.
You need some sort of box that has a lock on it.
Decorate it according to the occasion. Fill it will small toys and candy.
Child is given a key ring with three keys. They each get one try per turn/ticket.
If he/she picks the right key and the box opens... he/she picks a prize.
(Put a copy of the original key away for safe keeping!)
This can cause a long line.

Pumpkin Walk.....
Cut out big pumpkins from construction paper and number them.
Put them around to form a large circle.
Have the children walk around the circle to music....when the music stops....call out a number....the child on that number wins~!
Play spooky halloween music.

Make a lollipop game. You will need a peg board or something else with holes in it.
You fill the board with lollipops and on the back of just a few you put a red dot on the bottom.
If you pick the candy with the red dot you win a prize.
If you pick one without a dot you win the lollipop. No losers!!!
You could make a fish game. At our last carnival we got a blue tarp from Home Depot.
You will need to be able to secure both sides or you could probably drape it over a table...anyway two people were behind the tarp. We made fishing poles out of dowels and had a clothespin on the end of the string. The kids "fished" and the people behind the tarp put a little prize on the end. You can get anything from tootsie rolls, bookmarks, a small toy from the party store, etc. Anything that you can clip.
We also had a duck pond. There were several ducks in an inch or two of water. We used a little pool but you could always use a tub of water on top of a table. Every duck had a number on the bottom. 1, 2, or 3. You won a prize according to which number was chosen. The kids just picked up the duck of their choice. Again the prizes can vary from a sticker to a small toy. I really like that the kids get something no matter what.
Good luck. I really wish you well. Let us know how it goes. )
