Foil cups
Insert a circular piece of cardboard in between 2 gold or silver foil muffin cups (paper).
Glue the 3 layers together.
Let dry.
In the center of the muffin cups (both sides) glue on an image - could be Madonna and Child or a sun or a santa (recycled cards or wrapping papers are excellent for obtaining images).
Embellish further with crystals, copper wire, decorative buttons.
Let dry.
Then, cut the sides of the muffin cups to form an interesting shape:i.e. star, sunburst shape.
Punch a hole in the top and loop a length of ribbon through the hole.
If desired, add some charms to the ribbon before tying it.
On a smaller scale, these can be made with candy foils.
