You might want to try clothespin angels.
I use fancy paper napkins or round doillies.
Cut a circle then cut a small whole in center of circle slide over
head part of pin.
Add a dab of glue to gather it around neck add a litle bow at neck.
Add hair, wings, face and halo.
I don't hang mine I just slide them on the tree branch.
