TIE-DIED BUTTERFLIES
NEED:
MARKERS
COFFEE FILTER PAPER
A PIPE CLEANER
A SPRAY BOTTLE( FILLED W/ WATER)
Have the children color the filter with all colors of markers.
Then when they are through, have them spray it with the water,,
make sure they keep it at a distance, so the filter only get's misted.
watch as the colors bleed together causing a tie-die effect.
hang to dry.
when dry, bunch two sides together and twist the pipe cleaner around
and around,, until there is just enough left to make the antlers!!!
IDEAS TO USE FOR SPONGE PAINTING( instead of regular brushes)
potatoes, cut into any shape
carrots
bell peppers
leave painting
MARBLE PICTURE IN A FRAME
NEEDS:
a cheap paper frame
as many marbles as colors of paint
a box ( shoe box is fine)
different colors of paint
a piece of thick paper
Put the paper in the box.
put your paints into seperate bowls.
roll a marble in a color then put it in the box and roll in around.
do this with all marbles and colors until.
you are satisfied with your design. wait until dry, then frame it!
