Ballerina, Wild Rose, Poinsettia and Lily

BALLERINA:
Materials:
1 doll, 30" length of white Giant or Jumbo chenille, 28-bump length
of white chenille bumps. Wind a 12" length of white Jumbo or Giant
chenille around doll's waist. Attach a 6" length of tghe same chenille
to form shoulder straps, beginning at back and twisting in front to
secure.Form skirt (as for Hula Girl) from white chenille bumps and place
around doll's waist. Bend each pointed loop under to form a balloon
type skirt. Glue sequins or tiny beads to dress. Fasten a white
chenille band around head for a crown. Glue sequins to front. Pants are
formed by wrapping lower part of body with white Jumbo chenille.

WILD ROSE:
Materials:
Red chenille bumps (9 bumps), 5" length of yellow regular chenille,
fine (Sizing) wire, green floral tape, 3 leaves, hooked stems.
Bend one chenille bump in half to make a bud. Tie tightly to hook in
main stem with fine wire. Wrap calyx and stem with floral tape. Make
another bud. Use 5 chenille bumps for flower. Form loop for each petal.
Cut 5-1" lengths of yellow chenille for stamens.
Place these around the main stem and wind tightly with fine wire.
Attach each petal separately to main stem with fine wire. Bend tips
of petals back to shape them. Wrap calyx and stem with floral tape,
insert leaves and buds as you work.

POINSETTIA:
Materials:
Red chenille bumps (12 bumps), Poinsettia peps or chenille stamens, fine
(SIZING) wire, green floral tape, 2 leaves, hooked stems. Bend a 12-bump
length of chenille bumps to form connected petals.
(Each bump is bent in the middle of the thin part of the bump).
Tie one end of fine wire to hook in stem wire. Place peps (or stamens)
on the hook and tie tightly with fine wire.
Continue tying each bump, twisting wire tightly between each petal joint
until they are all attached. Wire the remaining bump. Now twist fine wire
around flower until a calyx is formed. Shape each petal downward.
Wrap calyx and stem with floral tape, inserting leaves as you work.
Apply a dab of glue to stem end to prevent unraveling.

EASTER LILY:
Materials:
White chenille bumps (21 bumps), 12" length of yellow regular chenille,
fine (Sizing) wire, green floral tape, 2 leaves, hooked stems.
Cut 6 sets of 2-bump chenille bumps to form 6 petals. Bend in the middle
of thin part of bump. Now cut 6-2" lengths of yellow chenille for stamens.
Group the yellow pieces around hooked stem wire and tie tightly with fine wire.
Attach petals by wiring each one separately to the stem and stamens.
Bend tips of petals downwards to shape. Trim stamens if desired.
Each bud is made of a 3-bump length of chenille bumps. Form bud.
Twist one end of bumps together to close bud. Place the hooked stem
wire into the open end of bud and wrap tightly with fine
wire. Wrap calyx and stem with floral tape, applying a dab of glue at
stem end to prevent unraveling.Make 3 buds. Wrap calyx and stem of flower, inserting bud stems as you work.
