4th of July Windsock

Materials:

1 piece white fun foam
Appel Barrel Acrylic Gloss Enamel: Real Red; Real Blue
(acrylic or tempera paint may also be used)
Design a Sponge
Tulip Glitter Pen in gold or silver
#5 Ribbon - 2 yards each of Red and Blue
String or Yard
Metal or Plastic ring
Paper plate or foam meat tray
Tacky Glue
Stapler
Paper Punch
Construction Paper for template.



Instructions:

Make STAR template out of construction paper.
Mark star template on "DESIGN A SPONGE", cut.
Dip cut sponge into water, squeeze to remove excess water.

Pour some paint in the paper plate. Dip sponge in the paint
to completely cover one side of the sponge. GENTLY press sponge on
paper towel to remove excess paint. Place star on FUN FOAM and
press gently. Reload Star Sponge as necessary. Make some stars red,
some stars blue.

When the paint is dry outline the stars with dimensional glitter
paint and LET DRY.

Bring ends of FUn Foam together and staple at the top and bottom.
Glue together between the staples.

Cut ribbon into 18" lengths. Altenate colors and glue to inside
of windsock.

Punch 3 holes around top. Tie string or yard from each hole
to the ring.

Hang.
